Every project starts with a conversation. Whether you’re planning a new build, extension, or renovation, we’ll sit down with you to understand your vision, needs, and goals. At this stage, we’ll talk through the big picture, any initial ideas you have, and answer your early questions. It’s all about making sure we’re the right fit for your project.

Next, we’ll arrange a site visit to get a clear picture of the space, section, or existing home. Seeing things firsthand helps us spot any potential challenges early, consider access and services, and talk through design details with you. This visit also gives us a chance to connect face-to-face and start building the working relationship.

Once we’ve got a good handle on your project, we’ll prepare a high-level cost estimate. This gives you an early sense of budget and helps you make informed decisions before diving in further. We work closely with your architect and key sub-trades to make sure the estimate is as accurate as possible — and we’re always upfront about what’s included and what isn’t.

When you’re ready to move forward, we’ll formalise things with an NZ Certified Builder’s Agreement. You’ll have the choice between an Open Book agreement (where you see all costs as they come through, with complete transparency) or a Fixed Price agreement (for certainty around the final cost). We’ll guide you through the pros and cons of each so you can choose the option that suits you.

This is where your vision starts becoming reality. Our experienced team manages all aspects of the build — from scheduling and sub-trades to quality checks and council inspections. We keep communication open throughout, so you’ll always know what’s happening on site and what’s coming up next. Our goal is to make the process smooth, efficient, and as stress-free as possible

When the last nail is in, we’ll walk you through your completed project to check that everything meets your expectations. We’ll also take care of the formalities, including securing the Code of Compliance (CCC) from council. On top of that, your project can be backed by the NZCB 10-Year guarantee, giving you peace of mind well beyond handover. If you ever need support down the track, we’re only a phone call away.
